Colloquia and Seminars

Joint Steward/NOAO colloquia are held Thursday afternoons throughout the school year. They feature ground-breaking lecturers in a variety of sub-fields and occasional "local talent". All faculty and students are expected to attend, and others are welcome. In addition to the Joint Colloquia, there are a number of other organized talks and discussions during the week pertaining to astronomy or some sub-field thereof.
